Maxyield for Tomatoes
Raise tomato seedlings in a suitable nursery medium, then transplant sturdy seedlings into a moist prepared bed. Mix Maxyield into the bed or planting zone before transplanting without placing a concentrated dose against the stem. A further root-zone application can coincide with early growth or the normal side-dressing programme; water after application.
The calculator follows the protocol dated 26 September 2026: 10 kg/acre at transplanting and 10 kg/acre at first top dressing, 35–45 days later. For long-season or indeterminate crops, repeat 10 kg/acre every 2–3 months where required; repeat applications are calculated separately. Nursery media are excluded. Soil pH concerns require soil testing and appropriate correction, not automatic dose increases.
Soil pH & crop suitability
pH is a guide, not a yield prediction. These ranges need local soil-test interpretation; unlisted values are not automatically safe.
Best pH conditions for this crop; no yield percentage is promised.
Usually a lower pH risk; test nutrients and monitor the crop.
Increasing risk of reduced growth or yield; investigate soil acidity and nutrition.
Check for nutrient limitations, particularly micronutrients.
Maxyield is a soil conditioner. It does not replace fertiliser or a soil-test-based liming programme. Nursery media rates are separate from field rates.
