APPLICATION GUIDANCE

Maxyield for Avocado

For nursery bags, mix 10 kg Maxyield into 400 kg potting medium. At field planting apply 120 g per tree with the farm’s mineral fertiliser or mature manure, distributed in the root zone rather than against the trunk. Apply 120 g per tree 2–3 times annually thereafter, beneath the canopy toward the active feeder roots, preferably ahead of rain or followed by irrigation.

This programme comes from the later standard avocado protocol. A separate Credible Blooms trial document did not establish a universal rate; keep trial observations distinct from the standard programme.

KNOW YOUR SOIL

Soil pH & crop suitability

pH is a guide, not a yield prediction. These ranges need local soil-test interpretation; unlisted values are not automatically safe.

pH 5.5–6.5
Preferred range

Best pH conditions for this crop; no yield percentage is promised.

pH 5.0–5.4
Near the preferred range

Usually a lower pH risk; test nutrients and monitor the crop.

pH Below 5.0
Below the preferred range

Increasing risk of reduced growth or yield; investigate soil acidity and nutrition.

pH Above 7.0
Above the preferred range

Check for nutrient limitations, particularly micronutrients.

Maxyield is a soil conditioner. It does not replace fertiliser or a soil-test-based liming programme. Nursery media rates are separate from field rates.
